Because Mt.
Tabor Animal Hospital has three licensed veterinarians
on staff, we are able to accommodate both routine and
emergency surgeries throughout the weekdays.

- We do not do ear trims
Pre-surgery Information
- If your pet is undergoing
a medical or surgical treatment, you will be asked
to sign an authorization for medical/surgical treatment
form. For your convenience, you may review this document
in advance by clicking on the form button below. (We
encourage you to print it and bring it with you on
your appointment date.)
- Plan to bring your pet to
the hospital between 7:30 am and 8:30 am the day of
your appointment.
- In most cases your pet will
go home the same day as his surgery. You can plan
on picking him/her up between 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm
or as instructed by the veterinarian.
- Be sure that your pet does
not eat after 10:00 pm the night before surgery. It
is important that his stomach is empty during surgical
treatment.

Important Post-Op Information
- In most cases your pet will
go home the same day as his surgery.
- Post-surgical pain control
is important to us and we will provide your pet the
best options for a successful recovery.
- We will review some post-operative
care instructions with you before you take your pet
home.
